What we collect

  • Identity and contact details you submit via forms or email (name, email, organisation, phone if provided).
  • Enquiry content such as commodity of interest and message text.
  • Technical data such as IP address and basic device information when analytics cookies are accepted.
  • Client engagement files necessary to deliver assessments (which may include business contact details of your colleagues).

We do not intentionally collect special category data through the website.

Purposes and lawful bases

  • Responding to enquiries and providing assessments — contract or steps prior to contract.
  • Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests.
  • Optional analytics to understand aggregate traffic — consent where required.
  • Meeting legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.

Retention

Enquiry emails and form submissions are kept for up to twenty-four months unless they become part of an active client file. Client files are retained for up to seven years after the engagement ends for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised where feasible. Analytics data follows the cookie durations described in our cookie notice.

Sharing

We use service providers for email, hosting, and (if consented) analytics. They process data under instructions and appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

If a provider stores data outside the United Kingdom, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses as applicable.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
